Community Resilience Group Briefing - 16 April 2021

Important information for our community from the Highland Council - keep up to date with these regular community briefings.

I hope you all had a good Easter. Please find attached this week’s email briefing which includes information on:

  • The Scottish Parliament Election – the deadline for registering to vote – 19 April 2021
  • Information on the EU Resettlement Scheme and advice for individuals who are having difficulties in making applications.
  • Information on the new Priority Service Register website launched by the electricity and water networks to help people register for additional support during a power cut or interruption to a water supply
  • Information on recruiting new Community Support Co-ordinators

This week’s virtual briefing is introduced by Carron McDiarmid, Executive Chief Officer for Communities and Place. The briefing provides information on the latest lockdown easing, including key messages from partner agencies in Highland. The briefing also focuses on providing an update on community and asymptomatic testing.
